Cody Simpson Launches Eco-Friendly Fashion Brand ‘Prince Neptune’

Pop singer and swimming golden boy Cody Simpson now has his own fashion brand.

The Australian artist today (Aug. 23) unveils Prince Neptune: The Label, and its range of eco-wear, from tees to hoodies, shirts, bandanas and more — all stamped with the freshwater god’s trident.

Lost wedding ring at Hampton Beach found by stranger’s metal detector

HAMPTON, N.H. — A Massachusetts woman’s diamond wedding ring, a family heirloom, is back on her finger after a man with a metal detector responded to her social media plea for help and found it at the bottom of the ocean.

Francesca Teal told The Boston Globe that she was tossing a football with her husband this month at North Beach in Hampton, New Hampshire, when the ring that once belonged to her great-grandmother slipped off her finger.

They couldn’t find the ring in the water after hours of searching, the 29-year-old from Groveland said.

In 2022 so far, there are approximately 114,841 beauty brands in the US alone; last year, it was reported the market generated around $511 billion in revenue. With those figures in mind, it’s no surprise that celebrities, influencers, and dermatologists alike want a piece of the pie. However, in recent years, we’ve seen an uptick in another type of beauty brand creators: fashion labels.

Fashion brands expanding into beauty with their own lines of cosmetics and perfumes isn’t a new concept. For example, luxury fashion houses like Valentino, Giorgio Armani, and Saint Laurent have also carried beauty for decades (since the ’60s and ’70s in these cases, to be exact). “Brands are always looking for ways to better serve their customer,” Jenna Jackson, principal of growth at CAVU Venture Partners, tells POPSUGAR.

Palace‘s Fall 2022 collection marks one of the British streetwear label’s widest-spanning catalogs yet, complete with an array of jackets and technical outerwear, several statement-making tops, plenty of functional pants offerings, the latest additions to its ongoing adidas collaboration and a Starter partnership.
