Over the past decade, designer Rio Uribe has carved out a new space for a brand

With its logo, which looks like an astrological symbol, or perhaps an interpretation of the planet Jupiter, we’ve seen Gypsy Sport grow from an underground, genderless, streetwear-focused brand to something more sophisticated. Today, it fuses elements of high glamor with jersey chic.

Since his first collection launched in New York in 2013, we’ve seen his vision as a designer evolve over the past decade. He has transformed the way we look at basketball jerseys, numbers, logos and lace.

Highlights From Los Angeles Fashion Week 2023

Los Angeles Fashion Week, presented by N4XT Experiences, ran from October 18 to 22, showcasing, more than anything else, up-and-coming talents. When one typically thinks of a Hollywood-based fashion extravaganza, brands like Revolve and Alo come to mind, so do the Kardashians. But instead, we saw futuristic fashion, sportswear-inspired looks, and a dash of the macabre. Some of highlights included silk pieces, quiet luxury beige and sci-fi couture.
