Fall Fashion From Renowned Skate Brand, DGK

If there’s any cool kid brand, it has to be DGK, a skateboard company turned fashion powerhouse co-founded by pro skateboarder Stevie Williams—best known as one of the most influential skateboarders of all time—and Matt Daughters of The Kayo Group.

The brand takes your regular hoodies and steps them up. They’re not only affordable (most items are under $100), but they’re super comfortable, and have designs that are not only stylish, but inspiring. DGK is known for their collaborations with creative leaders like Virgil Abloh, Bruce Lee, and brands like Kool-Aid and G-Shock, and fuse together fashion and pop culture in ways that no other brand has done before.

Their fall collections are stylish and cozy. One of these collections is called the Cry Later Collection, which uses the comedy and tragedy masks from

Milan Fashion Week: What Do We Want To Wear Now?

When you think of Italian fashion, your mind typically bounces from one end of the spectrum to the other. All out glamour, or sophisticated, quality staples. Unsurprisingly, this season in Milan, the needle moved rapidly as designers made their debuts, shared their swan songs, and established themselves as part of the new guard. But where the magic truly lies is when a collection connects the dot and shows you don’t have to pick just one or the other. “Quiet luxury” might be a trending term as of late, but it’s long been the Italian modus operandi—and this season, the best collections proved that everything from a button-down to a gown should be infused with beauty and evoke the same emotional response.

Chatter in the front rows reverberated a lot around point of view: who has it down pat, who is still finding their footing, and who’s borrowing too

Roger Federer, Fashion Designer

On Wednesday morning in New York, I watched as Roger Federer toured the Uniqlo flagship on Fifth Ave, a phalanx of videographers moving amoeba-like around him. Outside, a small crowd of admirers was growing larger by the minute. If there’s one thing Federer has heard approximately one billion times from fans, it’s that he is their favorite tennis player. I joked that he might be becoming their favorite fashion designer. “Up-and-coming fashion designer,” he replied, cracking his famously warm grin.

As he was there to announce, Federer has created a collection of clothing for Uniqlo with Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson. Available August 28, the collaboration is the latest in a string of apparel and accessories projects the icon of sporting icons has launched in the last few years. In 2018, Federer signed an endorsement deal with Uniqlo, and began refining his on-court fits with the brand’s

This Designer Relaunched Her Brand With a Shape-Shifting, Chic Philosophy

The collection has echoes of the original capsule wardrobe, created by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1946, at a time when women began to enter the workforce and leave the home more. The collection consisted of exact pieces that women would need on the go. In Ochuba’s case, all her offerings, from a slick black leather pump with cutouts to a hulking cream fur scarf, fit into her suitcase.

Ochuba realized she had made the perfect travel edit after she forgot to bring her own clothes on a trip to Paris and was left with only her collection. Luckily, she had a piece for every occasion. “I was so focused on the collection that I didn’t pack anything myself,” says Ochuba. “There were five pairs of shoes and outfits for every occasion—for a night out, for a business brunch, for cocktails. It fits into a medium-size suitcase that fits into the

Loewe mixes fashion with giant confetti cubes at Paris show

PARIS — Fragile half-ton cubes of colored confetti lay on Loewe’s white runway at Paris Fashion Week. Ushers desperately tried to guide guests including Jamie Dornan, Naomi Campbell and Catherine O’Hara around the blocks fearing the decor would disintegrate at the slightest brush. Sometimes, it partially did.

The highly creative show itself by Jonathan Anderson – that used feathers, and satins and velvet — continued the theme of reduction and ephemeral impressions.

Here are some highlights of Friday’s fall-winter 2023-2024 ready-to-wear shows in Paris.

LOEWE IS SUBLIME

For fall, the brand’s lauded Northern Irish designer continued his exploration of pared-down and reductive styles — where a single garment often comprised the entire look.

Loewe described it as “an idea of elementality: one piece, and that’s it, reduced to the bluntest shape possible.”

The touchstone of the Old Master painters, as seen in Anderson’s men’s collection, was felt here again

Footpatrol x Paperboy Ready a Three Piece Apparel Collection

Formed from a love of sandwiches and style, Parisian streetwear imprint Paperboy has established quite the name for itself since its 2014 inception. After collaborating with the likes of New Balance, CLARKS, BEAMS and more, Paperboy has now joined forces for a second time with Footpatrol for a concise collection of goods.

Being like-minded in taste, it only makes sense for these two European heavyweights to come together once more. The collaboration itself simply consists of three key styles – one hoodie and two T-Shirts. Adopting a monochromatic colourway, these pieces sport a relaxed fit, making them simple to pair with almost anything.

Atop each piece, the duo has made use of both their iconic brandings, with the Footpatrol Gasmask and Paperboy’s mascot character working in unison throughout. In celebration of the launch, Paperboy has created a bespoke lunch menu offering that will be available in its cafe for
